BRINGING US ALL TOGETHER…ONE STROKE AT A TIME
What to do with those old paddles lying around in the boathouse or the garage? Why not repurpose them by donating them to Canoe Foundation?
We are looking for solid wood paddles, not laminated ones, that can be cleaned up with some sanding and a new coat of finish...no cracked or split blades as we can't repair those.
We now offer a separate grouping of used paddles on the web site that we have termed Experienced Paddles.
The donations we receive for this group of refurbished paddles will further assist Canoe Foundation to advocate for and help fund Indigenous climate action.
If you have a paddle or two that meet the above criteria that you can donate, just clean them up as best you can, package them up and send to:

If you live in southern Ontario, send us an email at canoefoundation@gmail.com and we can make arrangements to come over and pick them up.
We like to include a story about each paddle, so send along in the parcel, its history in as much detail as is appropriate.
Take a few pictures of the paddle in a natural setting as well as yourself holding the paddle (see examples of how others hold their paddles, elsewhere on the website), and they can accompany the story of the paddle in the website listing, if you wish…just let us know if that’s OK.
We'll include your name in Our Supporters section if you wish (just let us know). Thank-you in advance for making a difference.
