Information that you enter when visiting our website will be used by us to execute your order and respond to your queries. Information contained in your orders may be used for sales reports, analysis, transmitting promotional offers and marketing information. It is also used for internal record keeping and accounting purposes. However, such information is never shared with or sold to any third party for monetary or other considerations. The credit card information that you enter when making a purchase is transmitted electronically, but never stored in our system.
Our website may contain brochures, slides, videos and other sources of information relating to products being displayed on the site. This information is being made available only for educational purposes, to keep you apprised of product features, applications, warranties, certifications, limitations etc. You should use your discretion at all times when making a decision on which product(s) is most appropriate for your personal applications/needs. You alone are responsible for ensuring accurate product selection, installation and use.
The Canoe Foundation website can display the contribution value of each item in either Canadian or US funds, by accessing the drop down menu in the top right corner of each page.
All products displayed on our site are not covered by any type of warranty, however they are covered by our Guarantee. Please access that section under Policies.
In no case shall Canoe Foundation, Canoe Corporation, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your contribution, installation or use of any products displayed on our website, or for any other claim related in any way to your contribution and/or use of any product on our website, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility.
Our website may use Third party apps or Tools, or may provide you with access to third party apps or tools. We have no control or influence over the functioning of these apps or tools, nor do we monitor, endorse or recommend them. You may use these apps or tools at your own risk and discretion, and no liability attaches to efilters from your use thereof.
We have taken the utmost care to ensure that all the content on our website, including product description and pricing, are accurate, complete and correct. However, despite our best efforts some errors may creep in. In all such instances, we reserve the right to correct any such errors and cancel any orders that have incorrect pricing. The amounts paid for cancelled orders would be fully refunded.
We endeavour to ship all in-stock orders within 24 hours. If we do not have stock of an item that you have ordered, we will let you know by email and also provide you with an approximate date of shipment. When we receive the product in stock, your back order will be shipped and you will be informed by email. If you choose not to wait for the back order to come in, your payment will be refunded in full and your order cancelled, at your option.
All orders will be shipped free by prepaid ground to most US States and Canadian Provinces. Free shipping does not apply to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and off shore locations. Please contact us for freight rates to these locations.
We use either Canada Post or UPS Ground for all shipments.
Please note that we do not ship to PO Boxes.
If you receive a package that shows signs of damage to the outer packaging, take pictures of the damage before opening. If the item itself is damaged, again take pictures of the damage and contact the carrier who delivered the item and report the issue. Also, please advise us of the situation by email, including your name, order number, the pictures and the action you have taken with the delivery company. We will monitor the situation from our end and will assist with resolving the issue.
If we made an error in shipment by shipping you the wrong product or wrong quantity or both, we will fix it at no cost to you. We will ship the correct product and/or quantity at our cost as soon as we are made aware of our mistake.
If you wish to return a product that you had previously made a contribution for on our website, please contact us. We will provide you with a return authorization number and instructions for the return.
All products being returned must be unused, in original packaging, and be in re-saleable condition. It must also have been purchased within 30 days prior to the desired date of return. Upon receipt of your request, we may, at our discretion, provide you with RGA # along with instructions for the return. A 25% re-stocking charge will be applied, and you will be responsible to pay the shipping, customs and Brokerage fees for the return. If you refuse to take delivery of an order that was properly shipped to you, and it is returned to us by the carrier, we will inspect it upon receipt. Upon inspection, if we determine that it meets all the criteria outlined above, then we would refund the original cost of the product, less the cost of shipping to and from our facility, any customs and brokerage charges that we were billed, and a restocking fee of 25% of the invoice value of the product.
