Short Artist Biography: Jackie is an Anishnaabe from Lake St. Martin, First Nations. She is a graduate of fine arts at the University of Manitoba. Her paintings speak to being an aboriginal woman, and she is deeply moved by the injustices of First Nations people. Through her art she expresses her ideas and opinions while striving to inspire dialogue on addressing her people's social issues.
