Meaning of Paddle Design: The paddle design depicts a colourful mosaic image of Ontario's 'Glorious North'. The abstract composition portrays a simplified view of the rich colours, raw beauty and solitude that I value in our forests.

Debra has provided a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Funding Project: Net proceeds from the sale of Debra's paddle will be directed towards the support of the Wet'suwet'en, who are defending their unceded territory in British Columbia from the Coastal Gas Link (CGL) pipeline.

Short Artist Biography: Debra is a Thornhill artist whose paintings are inspired by nature and northern Ontario. She regularly attends workshops and art classes including the Haliburton School for the Arts and Fleming College, and is a member of the Markham Group of Artists. Debra participates in several juried shows per year and is currently represented by the Ethel Curry Gallery. Included in all her paintings is a 'Zen Tangle' designed by her daughter Alexis.
